Background
Anthony was born and raised in Alexandria and earned his B.S. in Insurance and Risk Management from St. Cloud State University. While at SCSU, he was an active member of the Insurance Club and a past president, and represented students on the College of Business Executive Council (COBEC).
In January 2008, Anthony returned to Alexandria to join his father, Dan, at the family-owned agency. A decade later, in 2018, he became a second-generation owner.
Expertise
Anthony has earned the designations of Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC).
He has served on state and regional advisory boards for several insurance carriers, including Nationwide, United Fire Group, Secura, and Western National/HSB.
In 2024, Anthony was honored as the Minnesota Big I Agent of the Year.
Today, he specializes in serving business clients in the construction, government, and service industries.
outside of the office
Anthony currently serves on the Alexandria Education Foundation Board, helps coach Mites Hockey, and is an active member of St. Mary’s Church.
Previously, he served on the Alexandria Planning Commission and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He is a past Chair of the Alexandria Area Young Professionals and a former Chamber Ambassador. Anthony also served as President of Sertoma, where he was recognized as Sertoman of the Year and District Sertoman of the Year. Additionally, he co-chaired the Habitat for Humanity Hardhat Breakfast and is an alum of the Blandin Foundation’s Community Leadership Program.
In 2018, Anthony was named one of the Top 20 Under 40 professionals by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
Outside the office, Anthony enjoys spending time with his wife, Leann, their sons, Izzy and Walter, and their daughter, Ellie. Together, they appreciate all the great things Alexandria has to offer.
