1930s
Colby Hewitt founded Hewitt Insurance Agency.
1969
Lloyd Andrews and Bob Carlisle founded Carlisle Andrews Insurance.

Lee Zitzer acquires a controlling interest in Hewitt Insurance Agency and changes the name to Hewitt Zitzer Agency.
1984
Dan Zimny and Brian Gilmore acquire Carlisle Andrews Insurance.

Dan Zimny and Brian Gilmore acquire Partington, Soderholm, and Schreiner Agency, forming Gilmore, Partington, Schreiner, Zimny Insurance.

Kari Wiese and Andria Nordick acquire Northway Insurance of Park Rapids.

Dan Zimny retires, and Anthony Zimny acquires the agency, renaming it Zimny Insurance Agency, Inc.

Josh Meyers becomes a shareholder of Zimny Insurance Agency.
2026
Northway Insurance of Park Rapids joins forces with Zimny Insurance Agency; Andria Nordick becomes a shareholder.
Kari Wiese retires; Andria Nordick leads the Park Rapids location.
