Background
Josh was born and raised in Alexandria and graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a B.S. in Business Management. Following graduation, he played hockey for six years in the U.S., Canada, Italy, and Germany.
Expertise
In 2015, he joined the Zimny Insurance team as a Client Advisor and Resident Insurance Producer, licensed in property, casualty, health, and life insurance. He became a partner in the business in the fall of 2021.
Josh has earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
outside of the office
Josh was the head coach of the Alexandria Area High School Boys Hockey Team from 2020-2024. He’s also an avid golfer and enjoys hunting and fishing.
Josh and his wife Elise are excited to be new parents. They welcomed their first child, Aria, in 2021.
