Background
Anthony was born and raised in Alexandria and graduated from St. Cloud State University with a B.S. in Insurance/Risk Management.
In January 2008, Anthony joined the agency and became its sole owner in 2018. In 2021, he brought Josh Meyers in as a partner.
Expertise
Anthony has earned the Accredited Advisor in Insurance (AAI), Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA), and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.
He has served on the state and regional advisory boards for several insurance carriers: Nationwide, United Fire Group, and Secura.
In 2024, Anthony was named Minnesota Big I Agent of the Year.
Anthony specializes in the construction, government, retail, restaurant, and service industries.
outside of the office
Anthony currently serves on the Alexandria Education Foundation, Alexandria Cardinal Athletic Foundation, and Knute Nelson Grand Arbor boards.
Earlier, he served on the Alexandria Planning Commission and the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce. He is the past President of Sertoma, and the past Chair of the Alexandria Area Young Professionals. He is an alum of the Blandin Foundation’s Community Leadership Program.
In 2018, Anthony was named among the Top 20 under 40 professionals by the Alexandria Chamber of Commerce.
Anthony enjoys spending time away from the office with his wife, Leann, sons Izzy and Walter, and daughter, Ellie. They appreciate all the great things Alexandria has to offer.
